Opening for business in May of 2013, the Pybus Public Market has quickly become a vital part of the Greater Wenatchee area.
The Pybus Public Market is a bustling market filled with shopping opportunities that include fruits, vegetables, prepared meals, meat, wine, cooking supplies, treats, and more. There is more to the market though than that as it is also a gathering point for the public and performance space for a variety of entertainment acts.
The site of the market was once home to an early Wenatchee blacksmith shop. That blacksmith shop was eventually bought by a young man named E.T. Pybus who expanded it during the 1920s into the very building that has now been remodeled into this fabulous local marketplace and headquarters for fun and entertainment.
You can stop by the Pybus Public Market very easily when you’re out on the Apple Capital Loop Trail. You can also visit there first and rent a bicycle to travel on the loop too. If you are using the Orondo Street Boat Launch to access the Columbia River, you’ll be right next to the market too!
The Pybus Public Market is an awesome attraction to have so close to the loop trail.
